作为最流行的廉价商品之一，这种镜子似乎在中国以及许多东南亚国家家庭中使用已久。它的一面是镜子，一面是图片。镜面拥有反射、抵御“外界危险事物”的力量；图像则通常展现某种美好生活的想象，有靓丽的欧美小镇，也有的饱和度极高的现代化城市。

 

许多中国家庭有将其挂在窗户或门上的传统，图像面朝内，镜子面朝外。它们被选择，留在了家庭空间的内部，继续滋养着想象。可翻折的设计似乎也让这些粗糙而艳丽的图像可以与现实生活随意重叠、置换。

 

在纯白的工业化产物百叶窗上，图像与镜面已另一种旋转的方式继续实现着交叠与空白的流转。

There was a typical mirror that was widely used across Chinese families and many of the souths and east Asian families as well. It was an outdated product that has been designed and mass-manufactured decades ago. Many Chinese families share the tradition to hang it on the windows or doors, with the image side inwards and mirror side outwards.
