“快點鉆到被子裡藏起來”是影片中爸爸哄我睡覺說的一句話。那床被子上印著穿通我童年的鮮豔色彩，其實我已經忘記它，直到偶然間看到媽媽也曾臨摹過它的圖案。

 

“Get Under the Cover and Hide” was what my dad says to me when he’s trying to get me back to sleep. I almost forgot the vivid color until I saw a drawing of my mom copying its pattern.

I found it later that many of my works’ inspirations were came from daily and casual interactions with my mom, including my interests in the old items, the nostalgia that attached to them did not belong to me, instead, they should belong to my mom, it’s me who is speculating her past and trying to take her past into mine. My misposition of our past has made me curious about my relationship with my mom, and the general feminine, maternity, not necessary a female person or people.
